How Can The Frequent Urge To Urinate be Treated?

I have such a frequent urge to urinate that it drives me crazy. It prevents me from falling asleep. I have not slept for more than 30 minutes for 8 days. Can being overweight cause this? I am male 170 lbs, 5 3 . I have a large stomach but the rest of me is in good shape.

Hello, There can be many reasons for increased frequency of urination. Like urinary tract infection, undetected increase in blood glucose level (diabetes) etc. Please get a routine urine check up done, that can help in identifying if there is any infection. Plus also get blood glucose checked to find out if there is hyperglycemia. If both these are negative, then it will better to seek the advise of your local doctor. Thanks
